Christy Pratt, RCR, RPR, CLR

Owner and Realtime Reporter

Christy is a certified realtime court reporter and the owner of Reportex.

Over the course of her career Christy has acquired reporting experience in all areas of civil litigation, with a special interest and expertise in aboriginal proceedings.

Christy has presented for the Trial Lawyers Association of BC and at lunch & learns for law firms in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

As an expert realtime reporter Christy conducts realtime workshops for trial lawyers and their support staff and provides realtime support for LiveNote and Summation. She has also developed extensive training programs and instructional manuals for court reporters, transcriptionists and editors.

During a decade-long tenure on the board of the BC Shorthand Reporters Association Christy held the positions of director and president.

Christy has expertise in reporting all areas of litigation, including aboriginal rights and title, medical malpractice, personal/catastrophic injury, construction/engineering, defamation, products liability, anti-trust, environmental, mining and other resource-based litigation.
